The number of injured people dispatched to Turkey is rapidly increasing commensurate to the severity of the confrontation between the regime forces and opponents inSyria.
The hospitals’ capacities exhausted by increasing number of the Syrian injured people. Provisional treatment centers are established inGaziantepand Hatay by the help of the volunteering doctors and non-governmental organizations.
These centers are called as “injured homes” in the region. The injured people are dehospitalized earlier upon their surgery operations to accommodate further injured people. Thereafter, the injured people are hosted by the injured homes while in remission. These centers try to provide physical treatment and rehabilitation services. The people of region are mobilized on account of Syrians.
Sait Gökdere, Gaziantep Representative and Syrian Aid Coordinator are among leading individuals in regard to establishing Injured Homes and supply of the doctor and medicine. Gökdere pointed out to rapid increase in the number of the injured Syrians and in particular serious injured cases. He continued: “We observe due diligence to increase the number of these houses and to obtain the helping hand of Turkish people for their brothers. There are innumerable volunteer doctors helping to us. In coordination with the principal office of our association, we were able to supply the medicine and medical supplies worth of US$500 thousands on behalf of the hospitals inSyriaand injured houses inTurkey. But our requirements are much more than that. We request our people to support to medicine campaign.” Gökdere thanked to Veysel Dalmaz, the governor for his help in coordinating Syrian aids, noting his due diligence to provide flexibility on the aids.
It is the fact that the surgery operations are conducted without electricity and narcosis in the hospitals in Aleppo and Idlib. IMKANDER tries to convey the medicine to the hospitals in Syria. So many hospitals are either collapsed or heavily damaged as a result of the confrontations.
